Jack Bauer leering at me…

Have been doing work with IPTV and set top boxes for awhile now. Today I turned on the test TV after leaving a box on all night. Was greeted with the following frozen video stream:

Jack Bauer. Angry. Leering.

This scared the bejeesus out of me.
